I help disconnected couples communicate better and feel closer.
In couples therapy, both members of the couple are considered the client or treatment unit.
As your couples therapist, I'm able to help you:
Address Strained Connections and Develop Greater Emotional and Physical Intimacy
Identify and Change Unhealthy Relationship Patterns and Dynamics
Improve Conflict Resolution and Communication Skills
Clarify and Balance Individual Needs and Wants with Those of the Couple
Navigate Difficult Life Transitions or Events That Create Stress and Impact the Couple Relationship (e.g., Moving, Getting Married, Becoming a Parent, Changing or Losing a Job, Losing a Loved One, or Reconnecting After Infidelity)
Couples therapy is appropriate for all couples/partners in dating or committed relationships who seek to strengthen their bond. I enjoy and often work with same sex and interracial/intercultural couples.
Although couples therapy is most commonly used for romantic partners, it may also benefit those in platonic partnerships who are struggling to communicate and connect (e.g., business partners, friends, adult siblings, adult children and parents, colleagues).
*Please note: I do not conduct couples therapy for domestic violence issues. For more information on this, please see my FAQ page.
